Overview

The Preschool Provider Level I Certificate prepares individuals for entry-level roles in early childhood settings serving young children. The program focuses on building a basic understanding of how children learn, grow, and interact in structured care environments. Students develop practical skills for supporting daily routines, maintaining safe and nurturing spaces, and promoting positive interactions with children and families. Upon completion, students are prepared to assist in early learning programs and contribute to a supportive, developmentally appropriate environment.

Career Options

Graduates of the Preschool Provider Level I certificate are prepared for entry-level positions in childcare centers and preschools assisting with the care and supervision of young children.
