GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION

You must meet the following graduation requirements to earn your associate degree or certificate of completion from Weatherford College.

Degrees and certificates are awarded at the end of the term in which they were earned (in August, December and May). Generally, credits do not expire for graduation purpose. Students have five years to graduate under the academic catalog they last attended under or will need to meet current catalog requirements.

Associate Degree Graduation Requirements

  1. Earn a minimum of 25% of the semester credit hours required for the degree at Weatherford College.
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all courses presented for graduation.
  3. Complete all degree requirements satisfactorily.
  4. Meet TSI satisfactory requirements for all areas including math, reading, and writing.
  5. Resolve all holds and financial obligations to Weatherford College.

Certificate of Completion Graduation Requirements

  1. Earn a minimum of 25% of the semester credit hours required for the certificate at Weatherford College.
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all courses presented for graduation.
  3. Complete all certificate requirements satisfactorily.
  4. Meet TSI requirements if you are completing a TSI-liable certificate.
  5. Resolve all holds and financial obligations to Weatherford College.

Applying for Graduation

All students must complete the graduation application in order for their credential to be posted to their academic transcript. Graduation applications are done through the Coyote Connect portal.

  • Log into Coyote Connect
  • Click Graduation Overview
  • Select Apply next to the desired program of completion.
    • If seeking multiple certificates or degrees, a separate application must be made for each.

Submitting this form ensures the correct name is printed on your diploma and that the correct address is on file for us to mail you your diploma.

You must submit the form during the same term in which you will meet all degree/certificate requirements. Graduation processing occurs at the end of every term. Following the graduation application deadline and during these processing times, the form will be unavailable for submission.

You must submit this form even if you do not plan to participate in the annual commencement ceremony.
