Career Options

Graduates from the OTA Program at Weatherford College are licensed to work in a wide variety of healthcare settings. OTAs are employed in long-term care facilities, hospitals, pediatric clinics and mental health. The OTA employment placement rate continues to be very good and is projected to grow faster than national average.

The Weatherford College Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program is a two-year curriculum (approximately 20 months after prerequisites are complete) comprised of classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences. The program has maintained a 97% average graduation rate over the last three years. Graduates have maintained an excellent pass rate on the national licensing board exam required to practice occupational therapy.
