George family establishes scholarship in memory of mother

The family of Laverne Needham George, Weatherford College Class of 1948, has established a new permanent scholarship endowment with the WC Foundation. The Laverne Needham George Scholarship will be earmarked for education students as Mrs. George was a career teacher.
