Admissions to Weatherford College is based on an open-door philosophy. To qualify for general admissions you must meet the minimum age requirement and have either graduated from an accredited high school or successfully completed the GED test.

Students who are still in High School and would like to attend Weatherford College can begin the process of Early Admission by completing a Weatherford College Application. Approximately three business days after you submit an application through Apply Texas, you should receive an email from Weatherford College with additional admissions information. If you do not receive an email from the College, please contact Student Services at 817-598-6241.

Returning Student Admissions
Students returning to Weatherford College after not attending for two long semesters (both summer semesters count as one long semester) will need to complete the Application for Re-Admission. This can be done in person in the Student Services Office or submitted electronically.
Returning students must provide an official transcript from the last college attended prior to returning to Weatherford College. Official transcripts may be mailed to Weatherford College Student Services, 225 College Park Drive, Weatherford, TX 76086. Many colleges and universities now send electronic transcripts such as Scrip-Safe, Credentials Solutions, Parchment and the National Clearinghouse. Weatherford College is a receiving institution for each of these transcript providers.
Students who are planning on transferring from another accredited institution can begin the process by completing a Weatherford College Application. Approximately three business days after you submit an application through Apply Texas, you should receive an email from Weatherford College with additional admissions information. If you do not receive an email from the College, please contact Student Services at 817-598-6241.

Health Profession Admissions
Health Profession students must apply to the institution and fill out an Allied Health application to the desired program. Each Program has different requirements, so please go to our Health Professions page for more information.

Students who did not successfully complete a high school program, have not completed the GED, or did not successfully complete the TAKS test, may still be eligible to attend Weatherford College. It is best to speak with an Academic Advisor in Student Affairs to determine your eligibility.
