CARES Act III Non-Credit
Weatherford College has received a third round of student aid from the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES) to distribute in the form of Emergency grant aid. Students enrolled in non-credit/Workforce programs as of August 1, 2021 are included. The College will utilize eligibility criteria set forth in the CARES Act Grant as follows:
If you experience additional expenses as a result of the Covid-19 crisis such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care.
Non-credit students enrolled are eligible for up to $2,000, prorated by contact hours as follows:

|96 - 143
|144 - 191

Workforce Education Grant (WEG)
The funding is available based on an applicant's eligibility and documentation of financial need. Occupationally related non-credit courses may be eligible for WEG funding until funds are depleted. Call 817-598-8870 for more information or go to: Workforce Education Grant to obtain the application.
Weatherford College Foundation Scholarship
for Workforce Education
Through the generosity of community leaders and others, this scholarship funding is based on career plans, impact on life, and financial need. Occupationally related non-credit courses may be eligible for this scholarship until funds are depleted. Call 817-598-8870 for more information or go to: WF Scholarship to obtain the application.
Some certificate programs are certified through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). To determine if you qualify for paid job training, please contact an area Workforce Solutions office.

- HVACTechnician and Pipefitter Certificate
- Medical Assistant
- Welding Technology Certificate
- Machining (CNC)
Persons who have served in the U.S. Military may qualify for assistance in some programs. Contact the Veterans Office at 817-598-6243 or 817-598-6248 for details.
Persons the age of 65 or older may qualify for a discounted price for certain classes when space is available. The discounted price does not apply to all classes. Discounts are NOT available to repeat a class. A driver’s license must be provided for registration.
