From Angelica Trevino, Student Ambassador:
Welcome to Weatherford College! As a former Student Support Services student and previous Upward Bound student, I can proudly state that my WC experience has been enlightening. I greatly enjoy spending my time talking to new students on a daily basis and spending my spare time in the weight room. Weatherford College is a wonderful campus and the professors are great.
I also serve as a Student Ambassador which means I’m often one of the first faces potential students see when they visit WC. I enjoy helping people understand the process of applying to Weatherford College either as a first-time student or as a transfer. I try my best to give them all available information and lead them to the right people to answer their questions.
Our office provides tours of the campus at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each weekday. During the tours I provide information about the entrance process and answer any questions future Coyotes might have about available programs, campus clubs and address any additional needs they may have.
My favorite part of the campus to show off is the Doss Student Center. There is so much in that one building: the game room, cafeteria, grill and the bookstore. And I also really like how almost every building I take people into has a lounge available for the student to relax and hangout with their friends or to study in before a major test.
If you are interested in a campus tour come see me! Make sure to arrive about 10 minutes before the tour begins in Room 104 on the second floor of the Student Services Building. We also provide group tours on Fridays by appointment. Message us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 817-598-6393 to set up your private, group tour.
