What are your post-WC plans? Transfer to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) to pursue a BSN & eventually UTHSCSA’s PA school.
What are your favorite things to do when your are not at school or studying? Lifting heavy stuff at Anytime Fitness, Enjoying a Skinny Vanilla Latte with a Banana @ Starbucks, Work-study in the Library (networking and getting to know people on a person level), Fishing, Hunting, and Driving my ’95 Ford Bronco with the Top off.
What is your dream job? Physician’s Assistant, and when ready and well “seasoned” in experience as well as my years . . . I will become a Professor in the Academic World.
Who has been your greatest hero/mentor? Why? Clyde Wicovich, because without that friendship I wouldn’t know personal failure is personal success. (Truly, my dearest friend)
How important was the proximity of WC to your home when choosing to attend? Extremely important, I was in the United States Army Infantry for 6 years and missed my home. I chose to attend Weatherford College to reconnect with my home.
How important was affordability when choosing to attend WC? In reality I have had the privilege to serve the Nation while at a time of War. And so I have the opportunity to attend college with Uncle Sam writing the check which can NOT be understated how thankful I am.
How would you describe the campus life experience you’ve had a WC? What you put into Campus life at Weatherford College pays off 10 fold . . . I have made it a personnel goal to meet a new person every day as well as seize the opportunities to facilitate fellowship while I strive to achieve at Weatherford College.
How would you describe the quality of education you have received at WC? I can contribute the value of my education to the value of the relationships I have with the College’s faculty:
Dr. Alexander Ibe – Who is the smartest I have ever know . . . and he lets me know it.
Dr. Jack Robinson – Who is absolutely brilliant and hysterical . . . even though most of the time I pretend to understand his lectures.
Dr. Molly Harris – Who is an incredible multitasker, never in a bad mood and is a true rockstar.
How would you describe the individual attention you have received at WC? I have been welcomed with open arms . . . it is truly the student who sets the limits on his or her education/individual attention.
What is your expectation of your ability to make a living based off of your wc education? I will always value the time I have and will continue to spend here at Weatherford College until I transfer after the completion of Spring 2015 semester. My WC education has provided me with a major stepping stone in my expectations of making a exceptionally rewarding living.
