Are you a scholarship recipient?  Yes, from the WC Foundation.

What is your anticipated course of study?  Business

What prompted you to choose this course of study?  I’ve always been good at math as well as how things work.

What is the best part of participating in the Upward Bound program?  The family and support system I’ve gained.

Would you recommend the Upward Bound program to other students?  Yes. It helps you come out of your shell as a well as allows you to meet other kids like you.

What are your post-WC plans?  I’m not entirely sure yet. I will either got to TWU or culinary school.

What are your favorite things to do when you are not at school or studying?  Baking, cooking, photography, writing, reading.

What is your dream job?  To own a successful establishment with a culinary influence.

Who has been your greatest mentor?  My mother. Since she was widowed about six years ago she has worked harder than ever to provide for my sister and me.

What is your favorite song?  My favorite song right now is “Our Time to Go” by State Champs.

How important was affordability when choosing to attend WC?  Insanely important. The affordability at this stage, as well as the support I have here, was the deciding factor.
