ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE

The Coyote Jazz Festival is a non-competitive event. Each band receives an overall grade, written comments, and a short clinic by our expert faculty. Bands are not ranked and awarded trophies or prizes. Each group has 50 minutes for setup, performance, clinic, and strike/exit the stage. It is recommended that directors present a variety of styles and limit repertoire to three or four pieces.
