The Academic Support Center is located in LART 1-2 on the lower level of the Liberal Arts Building. The Academic Support Center provides academic coaching for all students at Weatherford College; especially those in TSI required courses. In cooperation with several certificate programs, the Academic Support Center now provides preparatory materials for those candidates needing to complete the ACCUPLACER or TEAS exams. Additionally, the Academic Support Center has study materials and programs available for anyone preparing for the TSI test and other assessments. Outreach programs such as in-class presentations, class-specific workshops and campus wide workshops have been instituted to assist faculty and students of Weatherford College.
Who are we?
The mission of the Instructional Support Department is to provide students with a variety of opportunities and services intended to assist them toward successful completion of college-level requirements in attaining their educational goals.
