Radiologic Technology Selection Criteria

Selection into the program is based upon the following scoring methods:
 

Prerequisite Courses

Anatomy and Physiology I, College Algebra, Freshman English Composition & Rhetoric, Introduction to Psychology, Humanities or Performing Arts (Co-requisite).

Science courses must have been taken within the last five years from the date of entering program.

  • A = 4 points
  • B = 3 points
  • C = 2 points

Pre-requisite and Co-requisite Courses

  • A = 4 points
  • B = 3 points
  • C = 2 points

Bonus Points Course

  • A = 4 points
  • B = 3 points
  • C = 2 points

Applicants with previous college degrees Points:

  • AA or AAS = 4 points
  • BS or BA or higher = 6 points

The 40* applications with the highest cumulative points will be selected for an interview. The top 24* applicants will be accepted into the program and the next 10 applicants will be selected as alternates. * Number of applicants is subject to change.

It is strongly recommended that all co-requisite courses be completed prior to entering the Radiologic Technology Program.
