Substantial scholarship funding is available for students who qualify. To apply for a scholarship, potential candidates must schedule an interview with James Brownlee, Director of Theatre Studies, and prepare a one-minute audition monologue. If the candidate is pursuing technical theatre only, no monologue is required. The deadline to apply for a theatre scholarship is May 31st, although the instructor may make an exception in certain circumstances. Additional requirements for a theatre scholarship include:
- Full time enrollment (at least twelve credit hours)
- Enrollment in theatre classes (to be discussed with the instructor)
- Once enrolled, maintaining at least a 3.0 in all theatre classes and at least a 2.0 in all other classes
In addition to the general theatre scholarship fund, there are other special scholarships available to theatre students.
