CE 388 Pedagogy & Professional Responsibilities (PPR) Human grown & development, Texas curriculum, instructional practices, designing effective lessons, reading instruction, teaching English language learners, assessment, classroom management, and professionalism. One semester course in fall

CE 403 Content / Teaching Methodology Academic content, instructional methods for teaching the specific subject.

CE 418 Internship, (for one academic year), or Clinical Experience for 12 weeks. Online support and continued training in Texas teaching standards, teacher English language learners, classroom management, special education, and assessment.

Academic year (August 15 – June1)

Online assignments and 4 observations of instruction in the classroom.

Three (3) Saturday workshops 9:00 - 4:00

Special Subjects:
Special Education: Schools Attuned at the Learning Center of North Texas Professional development for educators practicum for Special Education Candidates Complete a one week practicum, typically in June or July, instead of Intel week. See their schedule at their website: Ft. Worth, TX
