Take a respite from the summer heat in Weatherford College’s Alkek Fine Arts Center and catch the theatrical productions of “Princess and the Pea” and William Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost.”
“Princess and the Pea” is presented by the Once Upon a Time Theatre and is geared toward preschool and elementary age children. The interactive play runs approximately 40 minutes.
The production runs July 27 through Aug. 11 with shows at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
“Love’s Labour’s Lost” is one of Shakespeare’s earliest comedies and boasts the lengthy Latin term honorificabilitudinitatibus, which translates to “the state of being able to achieve honors.”
