Join Weatherford College for “It’s All About the Music” Friday, March 6, in the Alkek Fine Arts Center.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
The concert features vocalists Tatiana Mayfield and Rick Rainey along with an all-star lineup of supporting musicians performing jazz, gospel, blues, American songbook staples and opera.
An array of WC faculty, staff and community members comprise the musicians for the concert: Quamon Fowler, saxophone; Kelly Durbin, piano; Dr. Hyeyoung Song, piano; Clyde George, organ; Wes Cross, guitar; Lou Harlas, bass and Duane Durrett, drums.
