Tickets to Weatherford College’s advanced teen musical theatre production of “Frozen Jr.” are now on sale to the public.

The show runs June 14-16 in the Alkek Fine Arts Center, and tickets are $10 each. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

The production is the culmination of a two-week intensive camp with dozens of teens and multiple volunteers pooling their talents.

“The campers have hit the ground running,” said WC theater instructor James Brownlee. “Whether they’re staging a scene, practicing music, learning dance choreography or helping to build sets, these amazing kids will definitely deliver a top notch production. The professionalism of the camp staff is reflected in the discipline of the students.”

Based on the Disney film, the music and lyrics for “Frozen Jr.” were written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and the book was written by Jennifer Lee. The WC show is directed by Elizabeth Baker and Erin Brownlee.
