The Weatherford College Teacher Certification Program is now accepting applications for the next program starting this summer. The deadline is March 23.
During the 2016-17 academic year, 26 teacher candidates certified through teaching in 15 school districts including Weatherford, Granbury, Mineral Wells, White Settlement, Fort Worth, Bridgeport, Santo, Crowley, Cleburne, Kennedale and Castleberry.
Summer teacher candidates will be able to apply for fall teaching positions after they complete 150 clock hours of teacher preparation coursework and pass their certification tests.
