Greece Trip May 2022 Informational Meeting

Date/Time:

January 30, 2021 - 9:00am to 10:00am

Location:

Zoom - online

Details:

Greece!  The land of legend and myth!  The land that gave us Homer, Socrates, Leonidas, Alexander the Great (sort of), and Sappho (look her up).  The people that invented democracy, created history, philosophy, buildings with cool columns in front of them, and those yummy gyros.

In May of 2022 (so a bit over a year away) Dr. Scott Tarnowieckyi and Professor Nick Pugh will be leading a brave group of Weatherford College adventurers on a journey of a lifetime to this fabled land.  There we will visit quite a number of sites such as the Parthenon, the Sarconic Islands (think of the kraken rampaging around in Clash of the Titans), the ancient fortress of Mycenae (home of King Agamemnon in The Iliad and the movie Troy), the Temple of Delphi, and so much more.  Are you looking for an adventure?  Might you want to join our quest?

On Saturday morning at 9:00 AM there will be an informational (no commitments) Zoom meeting on this trip (it typically takes about 30 minutes).  If you are interested, feel free to attend the meeting.  There we will discuss the itinerary, the cost (including the monthly payment plan), and answer any questions that you might have.

If you sign up no later than January 31 than you will enjoy a $250 discount on the cost of the trip plus be able to take advantage of the Worry Free Enrollment period.  That means that if you sign up before the end of the month you can always back out of going on the trip prior to May 1, 2021 and get all of your money back.  That is quite the deal.

WC students, faculty, and staff are all welcome.
