Weatherford College advertises on social media by boosting posts on Facebook and Instagram. If you have advertising funds in your budget you’d like to spend on social media, here’s how it works.
The cost of advertising varies based on a number of factors, but a good rule of thumb is to spend about $3 to $5 per day per boost. If you have a program application period you’d like to promote, plan to spend between $100 and $250 as your budget allows. If you are wanting to boost an upcoming event, I can create the event on Facebook and then approximately two weeks before the event I will boost it for $40 to $70.
Facebook owns Instagram, so when we boost on Facebook it determines the best way to divide the impressions between the two platforms based on the target demographics of the boost.
