Option I - $500

Online Mammography Exam Prep
(Didactic only)
October 1-31 or April 1-30


This course is offered through the Weatherford College Continuing Education Department. It is designed for the individual that needs only the didactic educational requirement for the Advanced Credentialing Exam in Mammography. There is no clinical education placement attached to this option.


Course Structure:


This course will be presented online in 10 modules totaling 32 hours. Students may work at their own pace. All modules must be successfully completed individually (90% or better on post module tests). At the completion of the modules, successful completion (50% or better) of a proctored mock registry exam will be required. A certificate of completion is mailed after all requirements have been met.


Course Prerequisite:

Students must provide proof of ARRT certification and current state license prior to registration.



Option II - $1,000


Online Mammography Exam Prep & Clinical Training

Summer Seminar – June 1-30 or July 1-31

This course is offered through the Weatherford College Continuing Education Department. It is designed to offer both didactic (Option I listed above) and partial clinical educational instruction. The individual will receive the mandatory didactic instruction and 25 directly supervised mammography examinations. Due to clinical site availability, this course’s enrollment is limited.


Course Structure:

The didactic education will be structured as in Option I. Clinical training is provided in this option. Individuals will be trained by a registered mammographer and will perform mammography examinations. The required 25 directly supervised mammographic examinations will be completed during this option. All other compulsory clinical competencies must be arranged by the individual.


Course Prerequisite:

Students must provide proof of ARRT certification and current state license prior to registration.
Students must comply with all required immunizations prior to class.
