RESPIRATORY CARE
Program Mission In accordance with the mission of Weatherford College, the Respiratory Care Program is committed to providing quality learning opportunities that serve the needs of our students and the citizens of our service area. In addition, the Respiratory Care Program will prepare graduates to function as competent respiratory care practitioners, serving society through their professional roles. Program Goal To prepare graduates with demonstrated competence in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains of respiratory care practice as performed by registered respiratory therapists (RRTs). The course of study is comprised of 68 semester credit hours and is designed to prepare individuals for an allied health specialty that cares for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
