How to Enroll in the Fire Science Degree Program

• Official transcripts from high school and/or last college or university attended. Mail to:

If official transcripts are not received in our office this will delay your registration.


• Proof of exemption from THEA or pass THEA
• Weatherford College application (to be submitted online).
• If you are a Full-Time paid Texas fire fighter, you will need to submit a letter of good standing from your current fire department on company letter head. This letter must include YOUR NAME and SOCIAL SECURITY number. If name and social are excluded, the tuition waiver cannot be applied by our financial aid office. This letter will be required each semester you attend. Fax letter to 817-599-6507.
EXAMPLE LETTER:
RE: John Doe
SSN # 123-45-6789
Degree: Fire Administration Degree (list degree)

This letter will serve as a letter of reference and certifies that John Doe is a full-time employee with ___________ as a ________________. John Doe began his employment ______________ and is in good standing with this department.
