The general admissions policy of Weatherford College is established by the Board of Trustees on the recommendation of the administration. Specific admission policy is the responsibility of the administration and the faculty. The dean of admissions is responsible for administering the policy.
Admission to Weatherford College is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, national or ethnic origin, veteran status, or disability. Enrolling is probably easier than you think.
Enrolling at Weatherford College (WC) for the first time is an easy process:
- Complete an Application for Admission form available in the Student Services Office (STSV-LL).
- Have official transcripts from your high school and/or previous college(s) attended mailed directly from that school to the Student Services Office.
- If you have taken the THEA (Texas Higher Education Assessment) test, bring those scores. If you are claiming THEA exemption based on TAAS, SAT or ACT scores, WC must receive an official score report.
- If you are THEA required and have not taken the THEA test, you may pick up the application in the Student Services Office. If you have any questions about THEA, contact the Testing Coordinator at 817-598-6301.
- If you are interested in financial aid, complete the proper forms available in the Financial Aid Office (STSV-UL).
- If you plan to reside in campus housing, complete a Housing Application in the Coyote Village main office.
- If you need special accommodations for any fall classes, please see Bernadean Connell, Special Populations Coordinator, in Student Services before October 1.
- Visit with a WC counselor or a faculty advisor to select courses or begin a degree program that is right for you. If you are receiving veteran
