WC voice students compete in NATS competition
Five Weatherford College voice students recently competed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Texas and Oklahoma regional competition held at the University of North Texas.
Isabella Guzman and Mia Donahew competed in the sophomore women’s classical division. Hannah Baker and Emily Farmer competed in the freshman women’s classical division and advanced to the semifinal round.
Logan Thomas competed in the freshman men’s classical division and also made it to the semifinals.
NATS was founded in 1944 and is now the largest association of singing teachers in the world. The Texoma Region is the fifth largest region in the country by membership.
