EARLY ADMISSION

Many high school students are eligible to take college classes prior to high school graduation. These students are considered early admission students. In order to take college courses as a high school student, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be a high school junior or senior;
• Have the high school's approval to participate in the course(s) - Early Admission Form
• Have qualifying placement test scores - Placement Testing Information;
• Complete Weatherford College admission process.
  
  

Early admission students pay the standard tuition and lab fees for all academic courses and must purchase the required textbooks for all college classes taken.

Your high school counselor can provide additional information about college courses that may be accepted for dual credit. Dual Credit courses are offered in a variety of formats. Please visit our Distance Education page for more information about dual credit courses and distance education. A dual credit course will provide you college credit as well as high school credit.
