Research and Institutional Effectiveness
The role of the Office of Research and Institutional Effectiveness (RIE) at Weatherford College is to support the College's Vision and Mission through the following activities:
  • the collection and analysis of institutional data (institutional research)
  • the use of those data to measure the performance of the College (institutional effectiveness)

Institutional Research

Institutional Research (IR) at Weatherford College is research by the College about the College. IR includes the collection of data for reporting to state government, federal government, and other external agencies. IR also includes the collection and analysis of data for use by College administration, faculty, and staff in making decisions.

Weatherford College is engaged in an ongoing process of improvement. Institutional Effectiveness (IE) measures the degree to which the College can demonstrate the fulfillment of its mission and the accomplishment of its stated goals.
