With hard work and perseverance, she finally achieved her goal and graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and returned to the College as a part-time instructor in the program in 2007.

Now back in school working toward an AA with plans to finish a nursing degree at the university level, Allison rhapsodizes about her experience at WC.

“Everyone at WC wants working mothers to achieve their educational dreams, even when that journey takes 10 years.”

Allison credits the staff in the College Success Connection with much of her success. “They were so friendly and made me feel right at home and have encouraged me to continue my education.”

Allison will graduate in May 2011.
