A native Hawaiian, he and his friend and roping partner, Andrew Wong, toted saddles and tack across the Pacific Ocean to make their places as team-ropers this fall.

"WC is a great place,” says Jordan. “Everyone’s very helpful, and we’ve already told more of our friends about it.”

Jordan’s thinking about turning pro on the rodeo circuit after he finishes at WC but he’ll finish his business degree here first.

“You can’t go wrong with getting an education. Something to fall back on, for sure, for an ‘old’ roper.”
