E nrolling for her freshman year with several college semester hours’ credit earned through the Dual Credit program made WC an “easy transition from high school,” said Cheyenne Jones. “And it doesn’t hurt that the tuition is low and (living in student housing is) very homey.”Cheyenne’s working on prerequisites to prepare for entry in the WC nursing program. Her ultimate goal is to be a charge nurse in a hospital triage unit. “I like to help people,” she said, “and I’m getting a lot of help here now at WC toward my goal.”
