Once you speak to the former "California Girl" and current Weatherford College student, it's obvious she has her head on straight. Her "life experience toolbox," Clarin describes, contains an internship in Congresswoman Kay Granger's office and at a radio station to make her a "more well-rounded person."

Recently selected by her peers as Miss Weatherford College, she said she sees the role "as a way to give back to the College after experiencing the numerous benefits – good teachers, helpful staff. My teachers are approachable and always willing to help me learn."
