And the beat goes on . . .
By all accounts, Weatherford College officials are calling the first graduating class in its inaugural Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician program a resounding success. The graduation ceremony for the first class, held on Jan. 31 at the Weatherford College Education Center at Granbury, was well attended by WC staff and graduate families. Granbury Mayor Pro Tem Nin Hulett presented a short greeting to the graduates and their families and wishing them well in their new careers.
The EKG Technician program includes 70 hours of intensive classroom instruction in cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, electrocardiography, observation, and hands-on training.
Registration is now open for the next class starting Feb. 27 through May 9, 2013, at WC Education Center at Granbury. For more information, call 817-598-8819.
