WC seeks nominations for Alumni Awards

Weatherford College is continuing the tradition of honoring its former students by accepting nominations for its Alumnus of the Year Award and Distinguished Alumnus awards. The honors will be presented at Homecoming festivities April 27.

WC’s Alumnus of the Year Award was established in 1967 and the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1994.  
Two committees, made up of alumni leaders and appointed by College President Dr. Kevin Eaton, will make the selections.

Individuals will be selected for each award based on factors such as outstanding performance in a particular field, contributions made to society, and a demonstrated sense of loyalty to WC. Nominees will be individuals in which WC was a significant part of their educational experience.
