For the third consecutive year, the Weatherford College Radiologic Technology achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) National Registry examination.
"Although our program is only five years old," said Pauline Jones, clinical coordinator, "we have achieved this honor on all but our first graduating class; that makes three straight years our students have achieved this high standard."
The program received initial accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) a few months ago, as well as three years of accreditation - the maximum number of initial years awarded to any program.
"We are excited to have finalized the selection of Class 6 and look forward to another outstanding performance on the registry for Class 5 when they graduate in 2010," said Jones. "Thanks to all our great students and faculty for being willing to go the extra mile needed to achieve our goals."
