Lela Morris, director of the Weatherford College Testing Center, was one of 10 throughout the state of Texas recently recognized by the Texas Education Agency as Outstanding Chief (GED) Examiners. Morris said that the 10 examiners were those who participated in the GED (General Educational Development) online comparability study. The study was nationwide with 11 states participating. Of the 150 GED testing centers in Texas, the WC Testing Center was one of the 10 in Texas selected to participate. The study was Phase I to bring computer-based testing for GED candidates. The online test is expected to be implemented in 2011.
