"We are so excited every year about the writing contest, and we want to give everyone who has that creative spirit the opportunity to submit their work," said Rae Wooten, WC library acquisitions coordinator and chair of the writing contest committee. Winners of the poetry, fiction and non-fiction will be awarded cash prizes of $100 during an awards ceremony at the Books 'n Authors 'n All That Jazz event April 24.
