MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of Weatherford College is to provide effective learning opportunities that enrich the lives of its students and the communities it serves.
As a publicly supported, comprehensive community college and a member of the Texas system of higher education, Weatherford College primarily serves the needs of the citizens of its service area (Parker, Wise, Palo Pinto, and Jack counties) through teaching, research, public service, and learning. Weatherford College offers courses pursuant to a spectrum of educational goals:
• Associate in Arts degrees • Associate in Science degree • Associate in Applied Science degrees • Core curriculum designed for transfer to a university • Career/technical certificates • Occupational advancement • Developmental education • Adult literacy and other basic skills • Personal enrichment
