Student Refunds: Spring 2012. The first round of refunds will go way no later than Feburary 13, 2012.
 These are issued initially 14 days after the Census day of each term and every Friday thereafter. The best way for you to know if you are receiving a refund is to look on Campus Connect Account status. This online system clearly tells you if all of your financial aid has been applied and if you are due a refund or not. We strongly urge you to educate yourself on this process.

These refunds will be electronically sent to your WC Coyote card or Direct Deposit account if you have setup one. If you do not have a WC Coyote card, contact the WC Police and get one made.

Buying Books with Financial Aid: Students may be eligible to purchase books from our bookstore by charging to their student account. If you have alreaded been awarded federal student aid and you have enough funds to pay for tuition and fees plus books, then you may use these funds to purchase books at the Texas Bookstore located in the Main campus in Weatherford.

       Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Students can check their status of their financial aid on Campus Connect. If you have been issued a studentid and password, then you can login to Campus Connect and click on the financial aid link and check your current status. If you have been awarded financial aid, all of your awards will display for you.

 

Please Note: Campus Connect is now the primary way the financial aid office notifies you of your current financial aid status. You can view your awards or any missing information that we need for you will be available here. Every student who has applied for admission to the college has a student ID. You can use your SSN and your date of birth to access Campus Connect. Campus Connect is the primary access for you to check your financial aid status. If you cannot login to Campus Connect, please call Student Services at 817-598-6244. They will need to activate your account.

Financial Aid Deadlines

All required documents including FAFSA, tax documents (if required), and other documents requested by the financial aid office must be received by the following dates.

Summer 2012

  • Priority Deadline: April 15, 2012. This date ensures that we will have your financial aid file competed and awarded for those programs and will be used to pay for tuition, fees, room and board, books, etc when bills are due.
  • Failure to provide the required documents by the deadline could and will results in your aid not being ready to pay your bill on the deadline for bill payments. This means, you will need to make other financial arrangements such as a payment plan, cash, etc. with the business office or use the online payment system located in Campus Connect.
  • Simply completing the FAFSA by the deadline is NOT considered a complete file because there is more information required beyond the FAFSA application.

Fall 2012
