The 100 + voices of The Vocal Majority that will be heard in concert Saturday night will have 20 extra voices for at least two of their musical selections. The Weatherford College Choir has been invited to participate in a choral clinic earlier in the afternoon and then perform with the award-winning men's choral group in the fund-raising performance for the Doss Heritage and Culture Center.

"This will be a wonderful experience for our students," said Rob Laney WC choral director. "The Doss Center presented the opportunity for the clinic to us through a grant provided by the Texas Performing Arts Association."

The clinic is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday and will be conducted by a member of The Vocal Majority, Mr. Steve Decrow, who also is the choral director for Lewisville North High School. The WC students will practice at least two selections with Decrow and later perform with The Vocal Majority onstage during their concert at the Durant Auditorium at Weatherford High School.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through the DHCC. Call 817-599-6168 or visit www.dosscenter.org.
