Weatherford College embraces a culture of excellence, fostering the success of all of its students and enriching the communities it serves through innovative, affordable, and accessible learning and cultural opportunities. Institutional effectiveness is integral to achieving the college mission and ensuring continuous quality improvement in programs and services.

The Department of Institutional Effectiveness at Weatherford College includes the offices Institutional Research and Institutional Assessment and QEP.  The primary functions of the office include planning, assessment, data analytics, course evaluations, and SACSCOC accreditation.  The College engages in ongoing, integrated, and institution-wide research-based planning and evaluation processes that include systematic reviews of the College Mission, goals, and outcomes and result in continuing improvement in quality of programs and services.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) assists and supports the college in developing, implementing, and assessing its Strategic Plan. This web page serves as a portal to a description of the college planning process, faculty assessment manual, staff assessment manual, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) data, and links to the online assessment and planning management system (WEatermark), and SACS COC guidelines and resources.
